1940's Air Terminal Museum

There's a hidden gem at Hobby Airport that aviation lovers will enjoy.  It's the 1940 Air Terminal Museum.  The museum is located in the original art-deco Houston Municipal Airport building (a.k.a. Hobby Airport).  Inside are several galleries with cases containing aviation memorabilia, such as silver service items, models, documents, and photographs.  Outside you'll enjoy a front row view of the airplanes at Hobby Airport as they take-off and land.  Kids of all ages will enjoy the view.

Wings & Wheels is the 1940 Air Terminal Museum's monthly open house, featuring static displays of airplanes and automobiles. It is held every 3rd Saturday of the month, rain or shine.  For more information click on the following link:  1940 Air Terminal Wings And Wheels
